An angry employee, John Edward, has beaten up his employer who reportedly delayed payment of his salary.
Edward was arraigned on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, Lagos to answer charges of assault, conspiracy and malicious damage.
Ishola Samuel, the prosecutor in the case stated that the accused committed the offences on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Olusoji Idowu Street, Ilupeju, Lagos.
The accused employed the use of different weapons to commit the crimes.
According to the Daily Post, he had help from other people who are currently still at large.
“The accused used dangerous weapons such as iron rod and stick to inflict injuries on the complainant", Samuel said.
For further hearing, Magistrate A .R Onilogbo adjourned the case till November 1, 2016.
