Nigerian-American singer Jidenna celebrated Nigeria's independence by sharing a photo of his childhood home in Nigeria.
Jidenna yesterday, October 2, 2016, shared a photo on Instagram writing, "Happy October 1st! This year, let us celebrate not just our beloved independence but our interdependence with the African Diaspora. Let us be the leaders in unifying the Diaspora. We are in the spotlight more than ever. Let us use it wisely. #NigeriaAt56 #Childhoodhome @twopointoh."
Meanwhile the 'Classic man' recently shared a video on his official YouTube page detailing his visit to his childhood home inEnugu where he visited Urban Radio Enugu and met with fans.
He then moved on to Enugu State University of Technology, Agbani where his Dad was a professor and started a scholarship scheme for the best student in Computer Engineering Department.
He was later led to his secondary school where he was received by students of the school and their parents after which he then visited his father’s house in Enugu.
Jidenna also opened up concerning his career growth in a short video documentary titled 'Becoming'.
The clip mirrors the singer's discovery of himself which was highly influenced by places he lived in.
