Jonathan Mannion, who is regarded as Hip-Hop's greatest photographer arrived Lagos yesterday, Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Mannion, 45, shot to fame when he took the iconic album cover of Jay Z's debut album 'Reasonable Doubt' and the viral sensation- #straightoutta campaign directed by Dr Dre.
Mannion is responsible for over 300 album covers from DMX toDJ Khaled's latest album 'Major Key'.
He will be spending six days in Lagos to capture the Nigeria's Hip-hop scene. He will also share his knowledge and experience in photography.
The photographer shared his thoughts on being Nigeria for the first time on his Instagram page.
"WELL SURROUNDED. Nigeria, already, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Only hours deep! Thank you for taking good care of me! #BlessedLove" he wrote in the caption of his photo with two Nigerian policemen.
Jonathan Mannion will also have a photo exhibition at Red Door Gallery which will later be open to the public from 27th October to 5th November 2016, 8pm daily.
Other activities include 'Talk Presentation with Hip Hop & Photography' stake holders, photography workshop, club tour and so many others.
