Barcelona striker Luis Suarez showed how much of a family man he is when he climbed the stage to pick up his Golden Shoe with his two kids.
Suarez scored 40 goals for Barcelona in La Liga to finish as highest goalscorer in all of Europe.
To pick on his award on Thursday, October 20, the striker was joined on stage by his son and daughter.
The Uruguay international admitted that his kids asked why he didn’t score in Barcelona’s 4-0 Champions league win overManchester City.
“I told them don't worry, we won and [Lionel] Messi scored a hat-trick and they were happy, he said.
Suárez and his wife, Sofia Balbi whom he married in 2009 have a son and a daughter.
It was an emotional ceremony for the 29-year-old as the scout who discovered him in Uruguay, Wilson Perez, appeared on the big screen talking about his early days at Uruguayan club Nacional.
His national team coach, Oscar Tabarez also appeared on the screen with some congratulatory message.
