According to a member of the JTF Kabiru Shuibu :
“The suspected Boko Haram members were three in number and died in the suicide attack. For quite sometime now, the terrorists have been making frantic effort to attack Maiduguri, but we were always stopping them.
“Just about five days ago another was killed who came through Jiddari polo side, coming from Alidawari village and now the attack today at Muna,”
Soldiers and Police bomb squad are currently on the site of the blast.
A text have been sent to Major Ibrahim Mustapha of the 7 division Nigerian Army for confirmation but there is no reply as at this time of filing this report.
Hospital sources in Maiduguri, reportedly told Daily Post that 18 people were killed in the attack while 26 others were injured.
