Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has expressed his confidence that they will win the Champions League final against Juventus this Saturday, saying that “too much humility isn’t good”.
Madrid already clinched the La Liga and will come up against an equally impressive Juventus, who have secured their sixth straight Scudetto in Serie A.
It has not stopped Ronaldo from making a prediction ahead of the game in Cardiff, Wales.
“On the day of the game there is going to be a lot of nerves and I prefer not to think much about the final,” Ronaldo told Real Madrid TV.
“Too much humility isn’t good, we have to prove our character and who is the best.
“They are an excellent team but so are we. I have the feeling that we are going to play a great game and we are going to win.”
Ronaldo has scored 40 goals in all competitions in 45 games this season.
