Manchester United continued their Europa League title celebration on their flight back home after beating Ajax in the final on Wednesday, May 24.
Hours after the win, they board a private plane back home and continued their celebration.
Pogba was pictured looking thrilled with the trophy with Jose Mourinho enjoying the show.
Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Sergio Romero, Marouane Fellaini and Mkhitaryan also posed for pictures with the trophy.
The players were all dapper in suave grey, three-piece suits, white shirts and red club ties.
Mourinho believes this trophy is a reward for their hard work throughout the season which saw his team consistently criticised
“In
a bad season where sometimes I felt that my team was the worst team in
the world, where I felt that sometimes I was the worst manager in the
world, we managed to win three trophies and we go to the Champions League by winning a trophy — not by finishing second, third or fourth,” Mourinho said.
“So
I think the season was really good. A victory of pragmatism, of humble
people who respect opponents and try to stop their qualities and exploit
their weaknesses.
“A victory based on humble principles. Not poets, just humble people.”
