Markcuz Rangel shared the pictures of his monster bullfrog through the Facebook page of the South Texas Hunting Association on Thursday.
If we believe Markcuz Rangel, he got a 13lb monster frog at one of his fishing ponds in his ranch in Batesville, South Texas.

Real deal or fake?
The picture is making people question whether or not it’s the real deal. Markcuz Rangel says his big catch is no hoax: “The photo is real and I’ve got others from the same area, just not as big but still big bullfrogs.”

But Texas Parks and Wildlife says the photo is an optical illusion because he held it toward the camera and adds that bullfrogs are no bigger than a pound. The largest on record has been an African cane toad that weighed 7 pounds.

So you decide, is this monster (mutant) frog real or fake?
